Country Rising Exhibition April 20 - May 27, 2012
Living in the country and sharing your life with rich nature, farms and friends can feel like a blessing come true. For David Kocka and Rita Koerber it is where they found common ground in their shared passion for the beautiful farms and land surrounding them. As artists it became a natural progression to find a way that this passion could be expressed collaboratively.
Our spring showing at the Artisan Center is a reinvented landscape of bronze and fabric. Incorporating texture, color and all the whimsy nature can inspire in us. We hope that this view into our country roots inspires fresh joy in you too.

Winter Wine Walk a Success
Sculptor Joe Autry began the event by carving a 50 lb. block of ice using chain saws during the afternoon. The Artisan Center hosted Scout Mountain Winery and served as one of the stations on the 2nd annual Winter Wine Walk. Held Saturday December 17th, the Walk had 739 tickets sold. The Artisan Center had over 400 people in that day.
Light Up Corydon
Held the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Light Up Corydon got the holiday season off to a great start. The day was perfect with warm, clear weather and free wagon rides around the downtown. Several thousand people were in town to greet Santa & see the Christmas lights come on. Over 300 people visited the Artisan Center that day.
